ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - U.S. Republican Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska, convicted last month on corruption charges, appeared to have lost his re-election bid, trailing his Democratic challenger on Tuesday by more votes than Democrats said remained to be counted. (link)
