Politico - A day after disclosing an affidavit saying for the first time that he'd been solicited by the brother of the governor who appointed him to the Senate for campaign contributions in exchange for the seat, Sen. Roland Burris (D-Ill.) insisted Sunday afternoon that he had been "consistent" and truthful in all of his answers to questions about his contacts with associates of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
