Despite the history-making nature of the 2008 presidential race, the national political landscape hasnt changed all that much. In the end, it might still come down to Floridas 27 electoral votes.
Barack Obama s campaign is intensifying its push in the Sunshine State, just 19 days before Election Day, according to Bloomberg News .
The campaign has sent three of its top operatives: Paul Tewes , Steve Hildebrand , and Temo Figueroa to Florida and Obama is on tap to spend nearly $40 million in the state that was key to President Bush s victories in 2000 and 2004.
“You’re going to see lots of Barack Obama, Michelle Obama , Joe Biden and Jill Biden on the ground in Florida, Figueroa told Bloomberg. “If we win Florida, Barack Obama is president. There’s no way for John McCain to win without Florida.”
The state is more of a must-win for McCain, who has a murkier path to 270 if he loses Florida ...
