Candidates come courting the Hoosiers

Indiana hasn't seen a presidential squeaker since Dewey and Truman. McCain has such a slight edge that the usually Republican-strong state is seen as a tossup. > How odd it looked last week to see thousands of Hoosiers flock to a noisy Sarah Palin rally in mid-October, in a state where dramatic, coming-down-the-stretch presidential campaigns are almost always distant events.
