Clinton: Obama ‘Must Be Our President’

Hillary Clinton brought a message of unity to the Democratic convention in Denver Tuesday, telling supporters that “ Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president.’’ The highly anticipated speech, which was kept under tight wraps up until the moment of delivery, was a highlight reel of Clinton’s primary campaign, in which she took second place. Clinton conceded the race in early June but many of her supporters remain stung by the tenor of the campaign fight and ambivalent about Obama. Slights both real and perceived between the Clinton and Obama camp have been a recurring storyline during the convention. But the speech she gave wasn’t ambivalent about her support for Obama.
