Colorado governor Bill Ritter has selected Denver Public School Superintendent Michael Bennet to fill the state's U.S. Senate seat, reports KUSA, NBC's Denver affiliate.
Ritter is expected to make a formal announcement tomorrow to appoint Bennet, who would fill the seat vacated by Ken Salazar, Barack Obama's nominee for Interior Secretary. ...( read more )
