The Democratic National Convention is about Barack Obama , but today its also about Hillary Clinton . The New York senator is not tonights keynote speakerthat distinction is for U.S. Senate candidate Mark Warner of Virginiabut her presence is undeniable in Denver and anticipation is high for her primetime speaking gig.
Few moments at this convention, however, are likely to rival Sen. Ted Kennedy s unscheduled speech Monday night, which has been cast as a passing of the torch of the Kennedy legacy to Obama. With thousands of delegate cheering and holding signs that simply said, Kennedy, the ailing Massachusetts senatordiagnosed with brain cancer in May– sought to capture the same spirit aligned with former President John F. Kennedy .
The hope rises again, and the dream lives on, Kennedy said.
