House, Senate panels oppose Obama farm cuts

 
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The House and Senate Agriculture committees went on record against cuts in U.S. farm supports on Thursday despite President Barack Obama's proposal to save $1 billion a year on subsidies. (link)
