Alaskas Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell , who will move up to the top job state later this month when Gov. Sarah Palin steps down, didn’t seem surprised by Palins decision. Maybe because hes had a couple days to digest the news.
In a video interview with the Anchorage Daily News , Parnell said Palin talked to him Wednesday about her decision. He didnt exactly explain the governors decision on camera, but suggested that Palin has further ambitions and had grown frustrated with all the scrutiny.
Nobody, unless theyve been in her position and understood what she has gone through and dealt with and who she is as a person
unless you have a sense for that, you wouldnt really understand the reasoning, Parnell said. But because I know that Sarah Palin speaks from integrity and purpose, and because she wants to be able to expand her work on behalf of us all, I can tell she felt frustrated where she was unable to do that.
