Minnesota Seat May Be Empty When Senate Meets in January (CQPolitics.com)

 
CQPolitics.com - The Minnesota Supreme Court waded into the still-undecided Senate race between Republican Sen. Norm Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken on Wednesday, resulting in further delay in determing a winner. Officials now say it is highly unlikely a Minnesota senator will be sworn into the seat when Congress convenes on Jan. 6. (link)
