FoxNews and MSNBC are predicting that Sen. Barack Obama has won Ohio (20 electoral votes. The key battleground state would essentially deal a deathblow to McCain’s campaign. Ohio was key to President Bush’s 2004 victory, and loss there by McCain would be devastating.
Races in Indiana, Virginia, Colorado and Florida remained too close to call.
Sen. John McCain is projected to win Arkansas (6 electoral votes).
The current electoral vote tally:
Obama: 175
McCain: 55
