In the effort to build popular support for his economic recovery plan, President Barack Obama is asking supporters to submit questions on the bill which will be answered in an upcoming video message from Democratic National Committee Chairman and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine .
It’s not enough for this bill to simply pass Congress. Americans need to know how it will affect their lives–they need to know that help is on the way and that this administration is investing in economic growth and stability, Obama writes in an e-mail today to supporters.
Obama is asking supporters to host an Economic Recovery House Meeting this weekend to watch Kaines video response. People can submit questions through Obamas campaign site .
