CNN and the Associated Press joined TV networks in predicting that Sen. Barack Obama has won Ohio (20 electoral votes).
Sen. John McCain is projected to win Georgia (15 electoral votes), Kansas (6 electoral votes) and Louisiana (9 electoral votes). But the wins will come as little solace, as McCain faces a near impossible electoral scenario.
The current electoral vote tally:
Obama: 195
McCain: 85
