Sarah Palin called Barack Obama s tax plans phony on Friday, continuing the GOP tickets attacks of late.
The vice presidential candidate and running mate to John McCain often hit their Democratic opponents on taxes, pouncing with an accusation that Obama wants to raise taxes on the middle class. The Obama campaign has set that bar at $250,000. But Democrats have given both Palin and McCain fodder as of late, with an assortment of mentions of other thresholds — some as low as $120,000.
His whole tax plan, really, it is, it’s so phony that it’s already starting to unravel, Palin said to the crowd of roughly 3,500 gathered in York on Friday. And we’re gonna call it the way that we see it.
