Palin: It’s the Media, Stupid

 
Susan Davis reports on politics. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin just can’t say enough about how unfair the news media has been to her. In an interview at her Wasilla, Alaska, home Monday for the upcoming documentary, “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected,” Palin discusses with conservative broadcaster John Ziegler the “quite absurd” but persistent rumors about her son Trig’s maternity. Palin further speculates that there is a “class issue” between how she was treated in the media versus Caroline Kennedy , who is pursuing New York Sen. Hillary Clinton ’s Senate seat. She suggests Katie Couric and Tina Fey are guilty of “exploiting” her as Ziegler describes the two as “heroes” among the media elite for skewering Palin. Couric landed one of the first lengthy interviews of Palin during the campaign, and Fey regularly impersonated Palin on Saturday Night Live. (Palin also appeared on SNL shortly before the election.)
