(AP) The Republican vice presidential nominee has been under fire since Politico first reported last night on the Republican National Committee spending about $150,000 on clothing and accessories for Palin and her family since John McCain tapped her as his running mate in early September. The bills include nearly $50,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, $75,000 at Neiman Marcus, $5,000 on hair and make-up expenses, as well as disbursements to other high-end department stores including Barney’s New York, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s.
