Remaining TARP funds released

From NBC's Ken StricklandBy a 52-42 vote (52 senators supporting it, 42 opposing it), the Senate approved the release of the second half of the $700 billion in the Troubled Assets Relief Fund.
The "no" vote represent those supporting the release of the money.
A House vote is now not required.
This is a win for Obama and his supporters who wanted to $350 billion released....( read more )
