Sen. Martinez won't seek reelection

 
(CNN) — Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Florida, will not seek reelection in 2010, a congressional source tells CNN. The first term senator and onetime National Republican Committee chairman narrowly won his first Senate race in 2004. Martinez is due to announce his decision at a press event at 11 a.m. ET in Orlando.        (link)
