WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska was found guilty on Monday of failing to report more than $250,000 in gifts from a powerful constituent, a verdict that could help Democratic efforts to increase their control of the Senate in the November 4 elections.
