Source: Obama friend Jarrett not seeking Senate

 
The list of possible replacements for President-elect Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate just got a little shorter. One person often mentioned as a possible candidate for the Senate seat, Obama friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett, is not interested, a source close to Obama said Wednesday. (link)
