Views: Bill Bradley on the Speech

Bill Bradley , managing director of Allen & Company LLC, former U.S. senator and former team member of the New York Knicks It was clearly the message of someone who is president for the first time and not necessarily just someone who wants to be president. He was speaking to the world as well as to America and he was being very clear about American interests in the world, about how we would search out the terrorists, how we would lead with teamwork, about a “new era of responsibility.” He’s sufficiently a man of the center and he will draw enough Republicans to his cause and he is someone who listens very well and will probably learn from those different positions and seek to find a common ground. It was really thrilling .. I had tears in my eyes when he was sworn in. (link)
