onthehillblog.blogspot.com — While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi opened the new 111th Congress today by essentially embracing President-elect Barack Obama's agenda, she and her Republican counterpart pledged cooperation in the weeks and months ahead. Even still, it was not all smiles, as the GOP chafed under new rules.
