Democratic Underground Latest Breaking News — ... Division-Baghdad but did not provide further details pending notification of their families. In a statement on Tuesday, the U.S. military said the four were died on Monday as a "result of combat related injuries." Iraqi forces assumed formal control of Baghdad and other cities Tuesday after American troops handed over security in urban areas in a defining step toward ending the U.S. combat role in the country.
