Bench Memos on National Review Online — Legal Times' BLT reports that the Senate Judiciary Committee favorably reported the nomination of Justice Barbara Kennan to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit today without opposition.  Ranking minority member Senator Jeff Sessions called Kennan, currently serving as a justice on the Supreme Court of Virginia, a "fine nominee."  The committee also favorably reported two district court nominees, also without opposition. ...
