Barney Cam Makes the Holidays Awesome
The Latest on Air America — ... "Barney Cam VII: A Red, White and Blue Christmas". With guest appearances from the President, his wife and kids, NBC Sports' Jimmy Roberts and Olympic hero Michael Phelps, not to mention Barney the dog, it's overloaded with stars. The video is absolutely ridiculous and hilarious. We can't embed it, because apparently the White House website doesn't want that, but we can certainly link to it. Olympic gold medal winners Michael Phelps, Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson, plus the U.S. Ryder Cup golf team, show up to applaud the dog. Henry Hager, Bush's son-in-law, also makes an appearance. The link to the video is here .

The Bush family gathers to celebrate Christmas in this stilted and scripted piece, and you have to get a load of the President acting out some intentionally goofy lines, like when he admonishes his pet to quit "nappin' to the finish." Bonus: dream sequences in which Barney's the star of the Beijing Olympics, the Ryder Cup, and other sporting events that Scottish terriers rarely win. Seriously, though, a great deal of time and energy ...
