ABC News has put Chris Cuomo’s interview with William Ayers online, and it’s exactly as we predicted; he doesn’t deny anything in his past, but claims he was smeared by the “blogosphere.” According to Ayers, he wasn’t a terrorist. He was a hero, who never intended to hurt anyone. And yes, he was close to Barack Obama, but he wishes he were even closer.
Cuomo never really follows up on any of Ayers’ evasions, which is what we’ve come to expect from the mainstream media.

Well, it appears the equivalent is true. William Ayers has admitted (in a dog-bites-man story) that he is in fact a “family friend” of the Obamas.
Ayers defended his bomb-throwing past and repeated a statement that has infuriated his critics: “I don’t think we did enough.”
The college professor also argued to “Good Morning America’s” Chris Cuomo today that the bombing campaign by the Weather Underground, the group he helped found, was not terrorism.
