In addition, the organization writes: “Of course, it’s distantly possible that Obama’s grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat.” Lost and Found The Politico finds an unsigned law article from Mr. Obama’s law review years that the campaign (and Harvard) confirm was written by him. “The six-page summary, tucked ...
Obama's law review case comment — about the rights of a fetus againt its mother.
Althouse —
Politico has unearthed Barack Obama's lost law review article — a short, unsigned piece known a "case comment." The six-page summary, tucked into the third volume of the year's Harvard Law Review, considers the charged, if peripheral, question of whether fetuses should be able to file lawsuits against their mothers. Obama's answer, like most courts': No. He wrote approvingly of an Illinois Supreme Court ruling that the unborn cannot sue their mothers for negligence, and he suggested that allowing fetuses to sue would violate the mother's rights and could, perversely, ...

The abortion issue, along with his views on national defense, are very important and telling indictments on this man who would be Messiah to this country. He IS out of touch with the majority in this country … and I do not mean ‘majority’ in the sense of racial. I mean ideologically. His “Change” is pretty much the change Che and Castro inflicted on 1950s Cuba …

Ben Smith found Barack's unsigned case comment from Volume 103 of the Harvard Law Review . It's the only piece of legal writing of his that's been found, so far. Even that was the subject of some pretty fancy footwork on the part of the campaign staff -- which, as Smith notes, had told everyone that as the Review's President, Barack "didn't write articles, he edited and reviewed them." Yes, well, given the Review's publication schedule (at least at the time), this was written in around August of 1989, published in November of '89, and Barack became President in February ...

Barack Obama: International Man Of Mystery
Wizbang —
Well, it took some serious digging, but folks have finally found a single article apparently written by Barack Obama while he was editor of the Law Review at Harvard . oddly enough, it's tangentially related to abortion -- it's about whether or not a fetus has legal standing to sue its mother. (Unfortunately, this was written in 1990, before John Edwards could have told us what the fetus was thinking and feeling.) Obama sides with the consensus of court decisions, and says "no." This, however, highlights the incredibly skimpy paper trail Obama has left behind in his life. ...
