Just based on initial unemployment filings , I think you’d have had to count on people continuing to drop out of the system to get numbers that low. So what actually happened? As of this morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics tells us that we lost 190,000 non-farm jobs, and that the unemployment rate has risen to 10.2% .
