Former President Bill Clinton made the objective of his convention speech tonight clear in his opening words. “I am here first to support Barack Obama ,” he said, “And second, I’m here to warm up the crowd for Joe Biden .” The 42nd president of the United States received the warmest welcome yet of the Democratic convention speakers.
