Well, what a strange little turn of events.
Donald Jones, the University of Miami law professor who last week filed suit against Above the Law editor David Lat and others, alleging harm arising out of a series of posts the site did about Jones, has voluntarily dismissed the suit.

There was NO SETTLEMENT in this case. Above the Law has made no changes to our prior posts, and we have paid no money to Professor Jones. The case was dismissed by the plaintiff without anything from our side, except a letter from our lawyer.
