The WaPo's Robert McCartney says people just can't trust Bob McDonnell on the issues near and dear to them, primarily transportation (which in WaPo speak means higher taxes). While I trust neither candidate on taxation, I did find this part of McCartney's column interesting: McDonnell's approach [on taxes] seemed to shift two years ago while he prepared to run for governor.
