We know, Chris. We know.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Yeah, well, you know what? I want to do everything I can to make this thing work, this new presidency work, and I think that --
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Is that your job? You just talked about being a journalist!
MATTHEWS: Yeah, it is my job. My job is to help this country.
It’s your job, Matthews, to bring Americans objective information about our political leaders. ...
Im Chris from Shamwow!
Varifrank —
Hey Chris, I'd check your ratings on your current gig before you sign on for a bigger mission. MSNBC could make more money with your timeslot by just giving it to "vince from shamwow".

A journalist's job
Babalú Blog: an island on the net without a bearded dictator —
A journalist's job According to Chris "tingling feeling down my leg" Matthews, it is a journalist's job to help the president be successful. As Matthews has made obvious however, this does not apply to all presidents, just Obama. Sometimes you wonder if these people actually listen to the words that come out of their mouths. Tapper Bashes Matthews: It's Not Journalist's Job to Make Presidency Work

... job “still feels daunting and intimidating”—even if he doesn’t show it. Tapper’s not the only toughie in the briefing room—there are cameras there, you know—but so far, he’s the one pushing the hardest. And if that makes Gibbs’ job tougher, oh well. Says Tapper: “I certainly don't think that it's the job of any journalist to make the presidency work.” Was Tapper taking a swipe at Matthews with that comment? You decide:
ABC’s Jake Tapper: The Sam Donaldson of the Obamanation
Stop The ACLU —
-By Warner Todd Huston [image] Is it Jake Tapper or Jake Scrapper? I am beginning to think the later as amongst the Obamagobbed media, ABC News’ senior White House correspondent Tapper is emerging as the man ever ready with the pointed question for Obama and his administration. We may even call Tapper the Sam Donaldson of the Obama era. We all remember the many long years when Sam Donaldson would stand before Republican presidents (oh, and Clinton, too) and their press secretaries and, in that accusing monotone, ask the the most pointed question of the day, don’t we? Of course, we also remember the less than newsworthy subjects he often ...
Glenn Beck KOs Van Jones: The Future of Media and Politics?
NewsBusters.org - Exposing Liberal Media Bias —
... So let me get this straight: the host of a popular cable news program asks his viewers to find out information about members of the White House, and another host responds by asking his viewers to dig up dirt on the other host? Granted, MSNBC was the leading cheerleader for the Obama campaign last year with one of its top personalities claiming after the election that it was his job to make sure the new president was successful: So is it now MSNBC's responsibility to dig up dirt on media ...
