... So, he takes exception to some of DeVore's attacks, yet admits Carly supported Prop 8. Some of Chucks's attacks have struck me as somewhat wide of the mark. However, at the same time, Carly turned around a DeVore attack over Internet regulation to take a jab at Chuck for not being interested in protecting women and children on line from predators. That's politics, folks! ...
Chuck DeVore vs. Carly Fiorina
Ace of Spades HQ —
... On the other hand, I don't have much of an idea what Fiorina is about. She doesn't have a political track record and she's made some bone-headed moves of her own. And that's why DeVore's attempts to brand her as a moderate gain traction. She mostly can't do anything but say, "I am not a witch!" while he exhorts the crowd to see if she floats in water. The more she protests, the guiltier she looks. Still, the success of DeVore's strategy thus far has him overreaching a bit, as he did yesterday when he sent a press release claiming that Fiorina supported the spendulus. In ...

Poll Watch: NY Sen Kirsten Gillibrand Faces Tough Race -- Rudy Giuliani Leads
A new Zogby IVR poll finds Rudy Giuliani (R) just edging Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) in a potential 2010 match up, 45% to 43%.
In another potential match-up, Gillibrand holds a slight lead over former Gov. George Pataki (R), 43% to 38%.
If they were to face off in a Republican primary, likely voters would pick Giuliani over Pataki, 72% to 28%.

... They're so rude that they almost make me feel like sending Fiorina money. Moreover, the claim that Fiorina is a RINO seems a bit overwrought. DeVore has certainly positioned himself to the right of her, but unless RINO has come to mean being anything less than far right, that does not make her a RINO. Clearly DeVore is more to the liking of the right wing of the California GOP, but as this is politics, what ought to count the most is who has a better chance of beating Barbara Boxer. GayPatriot thinks Boxer would make mincemeat out of DeVore: The race for the GOP nomination ...
