Clareified — ... the race tied. As you surely know, Shays is the last Republican left representing New England in the House, and we want him gone. He’s hung on so far as his district becomes more Democratic, and through the wave year of 2006. But with Obama leading in the district by 22 points (Kerry won it by 6 points in 2004), and a strong challenger in Orange to Blue candidate Jim Himes, this may be the year Shays’ fake moderate act stops pulling him through.
