Eschaton — Obviously Josh's Deep Thoughts are generally done in the spirit that mine are, with a healthy dose of stupidity irony, but it's still important to understand that it's really really hard to make a truly rich person poor, absent hauling them off in shackles. There's a big difference between falling down a few social classes and, you know, being homeless. I'll even be a bit sympathetic and acknowledge that anyone who finds their socioeconomic status in jeopardy is experiencing a great degree of distress. But distress is not poverty.
