Burr Faces Tough Re-Election in North Carolina
Taegan Goddard's Political Wire — A new Elon University poll in North Carolina finds that just 19% of North Carolina residents believe Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) deserves another term in office, while more than double that amount - 42% - feel it's time for a new person to have a chance. Twenty-nine percent of respondents said they "don't know" if he deserves re-election.

What the Elon poll actually shows is that the majority of the people polled don't approve of any of our top elected officials. Yet, they will go to the polls and re-elect the same ones.
