"When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the livingroom of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching him–introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread." So, if Ayers isn't relevant to this campaign, why is Obama trying to erase records and lie about his alliance with Ayers?

Patterico, a name whispered in solemn tones within the increasingly lonely halls of the Los Angeles Times , has dug up evidence that he did. More specifically, evidence that somebody's trying to scrub that fact from the Internet . If it's not true, why try to hide it? You need to decide, Obama fans: Either this stuff didn't happen, or it happened but I'm not supposed to care. You need to pick one or the other and stick with it.
