The fact that only three House Republicans (none of them women) vote for final passage of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 is just stunning. When the Senate passed the bill, every woman in the Senate voted for it. That makes sense, since the bill ensures women cannot be discriminated against in the workplace. But, amazingly, Republicans (including all the their women in the House) are totally into discriminating against women. What explains this?
