I'm surprised that they didn't put the laptops, Blackberrys and folding chairs up for sale on eBay, but perhaps the failure of Sarah Palin to sell that surplus Airplane on eBay (despite the fact that McCain said it sold at a profit) was a lesson to them. Too bad, I'd have liked to run some undelete software on one of those bargain laptops and see what kind of porn the righteous right prefers. ...

On Wednesday, the Washington Post noted that the McCain campaign's Arlington headquarters was about to host a " blowout sale ," getting rid of some leftover equipment -- including laptops and blackberries -- at a fairly deep discount. Everything, as the saying goes, must go. Reading the piece, a little voice in the back of my head said, "These guys do know to clean up the equipment and delete campaign-related information, right?"
