When I was a kid during the last half of the Cold War, the running ‘fact’ about the USSR was “street sweepers get paid as much as doctors … that is why their healthcare is so bad and so far behind ours.”
I agree, CEOs get sinful pay and bonuses in our business world here in the good old STILL USA … but it’s also our individual ability and opportunity to better ourselves and climb to that sinful position they are in.
Without it, doctors and street sweepers (both important jobs in our communities) are … interchangeable.
