The Pay Cut Heard Around The (Boston) Globe
The Latest on Air America — ... Guild, which represents nearly 700 editorial, advertising, and business office workers, has told members it would file unfair labor practice charges with the board and seek a court order blocking the Times Co. from imposing the pay cut. The BNG was the only union to reject concessions. The other three unions, those of the drivers, mailers and pressmen, voted to approve their own cuts totaling nearly $10 million. Management of the paper is taking a 5 percent pay cut. Read more here .
