RIGHT OR WRONG, BUSH MADE AN IMPACT
Right Wing Nut House —
... then it was too late. We wll never know because when South Carolina seceded from the union, he failed to act. He failed to hold on to federal forts and customs houses in the south as the rebels seized them one after another. He failed to resupply Fort Sumter. State after southern state voted themselves out of the union and he basically kicked the can down the road. James Buchanan makes the presidency of George Bush look like a smashing success. None of those presidents placed their mark on history the way that Bush has. For good or ill, George Bush will be remembered as a ...

History Will See Lincoln-Like Greatness In Bush... Not Obama
Gateway Pundit —
Abe Lincoln fought for victory. Barack Obama chose defeat. Obama hesitates to make decisions. He stands firm in his positions until he doesn't. Unlike Lincoln, Barack Obama suffers poor judgement in choosing spiritual mentors who are spiritually bankrupt. Unlike Lincoln, Obama turns his back on those who are suffering and would rather appease evil than confront evil. Already it is obvious that Barack Obama lacks the same integrity of Abe Lincoln. Abe Lincoln was a friend to the downtrodden and weak. Barack Obama is a friend of thugs and despots. Certainly, George W. Bush is ...
Bush to give farewell speech tonight
Sister Toldjah —
At 8 PM ET. I’ll be checking it out on Fox.
This morning I wrote about Andrew Roberts piece where he predicted how history would view President Bush on the issue of the global war on terror. It’s a piece that I’m sure has made liberals’ heads spin. Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Publishing Co CEO Richard Connor wrote a similar piece here for CQ Politics, but went over the top in his comparison of Bush to Lincoln.
Slate.com’s got a mixed bag of “farewell” coverage of our 43rd president, which you can view/read ...
