... in any danger.”
The AP also reports:
The outbreak coincided with President Barack Obama’s trip to Mexico City on April 16. Obama was received at the anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archaeologist who died a week later from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported. The newspaper didn’t say if Solis had swine flu or not.
The Centers for Disease Control, meanwhile, is providing information on swine flu on its website.

Vinegar will work, too, but it smells like vinegar which might get you some strange looks. That rubbing alcohol works as an impromptu hand-sanitizer, too. Just spray a bit into your hand, rub your hands together, and you’re done. Don’t like the smell? Keep some hand-lotion around, too. No worries. Keep in mind here that I’m not a doctor nor a member of the CDC ( their advice is similar, though ). I’m a blogger. But you don’t need to a doctor to tell yuo what ...

... The CDC’s statement on swine flu is here. With the exception of New York City, where 28 cases have been reported, I seriously doubt that the 12 cases reported in 4 states is something we should be overly concerned about. The mild cases of flu that are being reported may have gone undiagnosed as something special for decades, even centuries. Nobody knows how many different strains of the flu virus there are. It may be there are millions. ...

Deconstructing Swine Flu Mania
The Moderate Voice —
I don’t know about you, but I felt a little shiver along my spine when I heard on Wednesday that the World Health Organization had raised its H1N1 swine flu threat level to five, on a scale of one-to-six. I didn’t know what that meant, exactly. But news reports linking this threat level with the 1968 Hong Kong flu and the word “pandemic” were shaking my belief that the U.S. media were on one of their normal echo-chamber benders.
Today WHO reported that 11 countries have “officially reported 257 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection.” In the U.S., we have 109 laboratory-confirmed human ...

My only observation is that public health officials are now (correctly) looking intensely for the H1N1 influenza virus, meaning in theory there could have been some cases ...
Brownie Attacks Obama Administration’s Response To Swine Flu: Officials Are Just Crying ‘Chicken Little’

BROWN: Well I think there’s one thing they’re legitimately worried about and that is this H1N1 is a new strain we haven’t seen before so we’re not sure how Tamiflu and everything ...
