Joe the Plumber, live from Sderot

... The Jerusalem Post reports that Joe the Plumber has arrived in Israel. By noon today he had made it to Sderot. By my estimation, he has gotten a better handle on the situation than his supposed betters in the media: ...
The Plumber Has Landed... Joe Kicks Media A$$ In Israel
Gateway Pundit —
The Plumber Has Landed... Joe the Plumber kicked some media tail in Sderot, Israel today. The Jerusalem Post reported on his new gig: Samuel Wurzelbacher of Ohio, aka Joe the Plumber, arrived in Sderot at noon Sunday to show local and foreign reporters how to do it right. "You should be patriotic, protect your family and children, not report like you have been doing for the past two weeks since this war has started," he said. Wurzelbacher, the man who stole the limelight from Republican ...

[Guest post by DRJ]
PJ Media’s Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher is reporting from Sderot, Israel:
“The people of Sderot “can’t do normal things day to day,” like get soap in their eyes in the shower, for fear a rocket might come in, Wurzelbacher said. “I’m sure they’re taking quick showers. I know I would.”
He also wondered why Israel waited so long to act. “I know if I were a citizen here, I’d be damned upset.” He described himself as a “peaceloving man,” but added, “when someone hits me, I’m going to unload on the boy. And if the rest of ...
Joe the Plumber Sets Israelis Straight
Politics Daily —
Filed under: Republicans, Featured Stories, Media, Foreign PolicyThe Plumber has landed. And he's pissed off at the Israelis--and the media--for being such wimps when it comes to letting Hamas bully them for so long. Via the Jerusalem Post: "I know if I were a citizen here, I'd e damned upset." He described himself as a "peaceloving man," but added "when someone hits me, I'm going to unload on the boy. And if the rest of the world doesn't understand that, then I'm sorry." Yes, Joe is very sorry, indeed. And what's funny is that so many people on the right actually think this guy is already a better ...

Glenn Reynolds Goes To War
The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan —
Well, it's Joe The Plumber, but the spirit is the same: "I'll be honest with you. I don't think journalists
should be anywhere allowed war. I mean, you guys report where our
troops are at. You report what's happening day to day. You make a big
deal out of it. I think it's asinine. You know, I liked back in World
War I and World War II when you'd go to the theater and you'd see your
troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and
happy for 'em. Now everyone's got an opinion and wants to downer, ah,
down soldiers. You know, American soldiers or Israeli soldiers.
I think media ...

INSTAPUTZ —
In the spirit of MAD's "Scenes We'd Like to See," here's some disclosure language I wish Putz would run: "Hey! I have a financial stake in Pajamas Media. Each time I direct traffic to Pajamas Media, I make money! Heh!" Otherwise, this... JOE THE PLUMBER meets Chairman Mao in Gaza. ...
Jump the shark
Wizbang —
... thought the media was slanting the story to make it look like "Israel's being bad." The media should be there to report the news but by Joe wanting to cover 'Israel's side of the conflict', doesn't he realize he is picking sides too? Also note that if the media was abolished from covering the war, Joe wouldn't be there either. I think Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes of fame are up. Before someone attacks the source for the above, CNN, I'll note Joe's dislike of the media coverage was reported in the Jerusalem Post . We certainly know that member of the media can't be ...
