Sebelius at HHS, Carrion unannounced
Ben Smith's Blog — Peter Baker names Kathleen Sebelius the frontrunner to head HHS. Meanwhile, I can't help noticing that Adolfo Carrion was not named to head the Office of Urban Policy today, despite a definitive story this morning that he finally would be. (The source for the story, unless Tommy Vietor spends more time talking to the Daily News Bronx Bureau Chief than I'd realized, was not the White House.) The White House press office didn't respond to a question about the (non-)appointment, and last I'd heard was that the Bronx had brought along some non-fatal vetting challenges, but that he was expected to get the job. Still, puzzling.
