Of course, Sanders and Leahy got their panties in a twist over it, and Harry Reid was non too happy. Lieberman also retained chairmanship of the Armed Services committee. He was however severely flogged with a wet noodle and stripped of a seat on the Environment and Public Works committee, which I'm sure he's eating Xanax by the handful and agonizing over at this very moment.
