Is McConnell Getting A Bad Rap?
Riehl World View —
Right-side blogs seem to be jumping on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for some things he's said and plans to say: see here, here and here for more. But reading the most detailed account of his remarks I can find, I'm not sure I get the point. He appears to be saying the same thing I have been saying for years.
Republican messaging, especially as regards minorities, has been terrible for years. Changing that while sticking with common sense conservative principles is precisely what the GOP must do. For heaven's sake, out of ...

... about their latest triumph (and may he enjoy many more victories like this one): "Persevere. And relish victories like we had last night - the House Republicans heard us and stood united against Barack Obama's socialist stimulus plan." He seems to be a bit more concerned about Mitch McConnell, though, and so he has come up with a new plan of action for the Strike Force: "So here's what we need to do. I've said he lost his testicles and is now spreading a cancer of capitulation throughout the Senate Republican Conference. We need to send Mitch some balls. Seriously. We're ...

1/30: The Battle Intensifies
Blogometer —
January 30, 2009 1/30: The Battle Intensifies The House GOP caucus's unanimous rejection of Barack Obama 's economic stimulus bill has certainly energized the conservative blogosphere. Righty bloggers are stepping up their efforts to persuade Senate GOPers to vote against the bill. Michelle Malkin has thrown her support behind the RedState / #dontgo "Send a Pair" campaign, which seeks to pressure Senate Min. Leader Mitch McConnell into opposing the bill by bombarding his office with "golf balls, novelty items...or real items such as various ...
I believe Erick said send balls, not Neuticles
No Runny Eggs —
I am a bit late to the RedState/DontGo Movement Send A Pair Project. The first target is Senate “Republican leader” Mitch McConnell, specifically his Louisville office (601 W. Broadway Room 630, Louisville, KY 40202). RedState recommends playground balls, but after I read the item I’m about to post on, I’m going to send some serious 2″ gumballs (once they arrive at the bunker, that is) because somebody must’ve slipped some Neuticles into the first shipment.

... Taking on Minority Leader Mitch McConnell recently, Erickson wrote: "I've said he lost his testicles and is now spreading a cancer of capitulation throughout the Senate Republican Conference. We need to send Mitch some balls." As part of his effort, I'm told more than 500 people sent golf balls (or other ...
