Unqualified Offerings — By Thoreau Mohammad Khatami is throwing his hat in the ring to run for a third term as President of Iran.  Given that (1) Ahmadinejad is an embarassment who’s even pissed off some hard-liners (even if they sort of agree with him, every faction must have its sub-factions) and (2) the theocrats effectively neutered Khatami’s efforts in 1997-2005, I wouldn’t be surprised if they approve him for the ballot.
