... in cheek because, well, the plural of anecdote is not data. Still I also only throw it out there when I sense it might have a bit of meaning. When I hear South Philly Italian-Americans are voting for Obama, and then walk around South Philly and see almost no McCain signs, I think there might be a bit of meaning there. This was Bush sign territory in '04, and old South Philly Italian-Americans aren't generally known for their fondness for African-Americans.
