But the media just has to find reason to see trends that aren’t there and extrapolate them to ever more wide-sweeping generalizations. If that means focusing on NY-23 a seat that’s been in the GOP column for 140 years as being more important than say, the generally historically competitive California-10 solely for that reason so be it.
